Description from the seller
Clarinet from the prestigious brand "Amati" and its most elaborate model Kraslice. It has been fully restored with new buffet pads. The springs and needle springs have also been restored. All parts are original except the bell, which is plastic; the two tenons and the barrel are made of ancient ebony that was used in those years and in these models in particular, noticeable for the glossy finish they still retain, although I must add that the interior and exterior have been nourished entirely with essential oils. When I say it has been fully restored, I mean that the chimneys that were screwed into their manufacture tended to leak air over the years and were hard to play; this is why these clarinets are undervalued on the market. I have done it: I filled the bowls/ mouths of the chimneys to achieve complete hermeticity and it turned out superb. I guarantee you, it’s worth having an Amati of this lineage and quality. I play saxophones (baritone, tenor, alto, and soprano) and clarinets in C and E♭, all in Amati. I only reduce the necks on the saxophones and VOILE. I check the chimneys in the ebony. A clarinet of this magnitude was almost that detail, and as I said, in perfect restored condition, tested and delicious. I ship it without a mouthpiece and with a period-appropriate case that appears to be original and shows wear from the years but is still in fairly good condition. Good luck.
