The top shows some professionally repaired cracks. This violin delivers a powerful, sweet, and richly colored tone — clear and focused, with excellent responsiveness and evenness across all registers. It offers a wide tonal palette, making it suitable for expressive playing. The back is made from a single piece of beautifully softly flamed maple, well matched with the sides and scroll. The top is crafted from high-quality, straight, fine-grained spruce. The purfling is carefully and precisely inlaid on both front and back, reflecting fine workmanship.
