Exceptional green glass sculpture in through-the-glass – Model 5736 "Taalari", Tamara Aladin, Riihimäki

Offered here is a rare and highly sought-after designer vase from the series "Taalari" (model 5736), designed by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäki Glassworks. The model was introduced in 1968 and is today regarded as one of the most characteristic pressed glass works from Riihimäki's golden era.

This example is made of uranium glass and exhibits strong, even green fluorescence under UV light, which is clearly documented in the photos. The combination of the geometric relief, the deep color, and the uranium content makes the vase particularly attractive for both design and uranium glass collectors.
