Tierney Gearon's book entitled Alphabet Book takes the form of a children's alphabet. Each letter of the alphabet is illustrated with a photograph by Gearon that animates the letter: A is the adventure of the airplane, B is the bear boy, C becomes the clown's car, etc. This volume, which is at once an inventive photographic book and a charming reimagining of the children's alphabet book, is Gearon's most fascinating and carefree work.
