Exquisite chess set made of natural stone. Made in France and dating from the mid-20th century.

The chessboard and the accompanying pieces are red and a gray-brown in color.

The board measures 20 x 20 cm. The king's height is about 3.5 cm. The board and the pieces together weigh about 1900 grams.

The object is in good condition and shows minimal signs of wear. Because each piece is handmade, slight irregularities may be present.

Schitterend schaakspeel van natuursteen. Gemaakt in Frankrijk en daterend uit het midden van de vorige eeuw. 

Het schaakbord en de bijbehorende stukken zijn rood en een grijsbruin van kleur. 

De bord is 20x20cm groot. De koningshoogte bedraagt zo'n 3,5cm. Het bord en de stukken samen wegen zo'n 1900 gram. 

Het object verkeert in goede staat en heeft minimale gebruikssporen. Omdat elk stuk met de hand gemaakt is, zijn lichte oneffenheden mogelijk.
