Description from the seller
Set of two Russian flags
1. Russian Imperial Flag (black-gold-white) with a double-headed eagle
Beautiful decorative flag based on the historic flag of the Russian Empire. Equipped with the double-headed eagle and a detailed coat of arms in the center.
Size: 60 x 94 cm

2. Russian tricolor with the distinctive horizontal bands white, blue and red. This flag is made of thick cotton fabric, with light signs of wear.
The white-blue-red tricolor traces its origins to the 17th century under Tsar Peter the Great, who was inspired by the Dutch flag for the development of the Russian navy. The flag later became a national symbol of the Russian Empire. During the Soviet period (1922–1991) it was replaced by the red hammer-and-sickle flag, but since 1991 the tricolor has again been the official national flag of Russia.
