⸻
“Dalí – The Surreal Split” by Pythia is a vibrant, modern celebration of the genius of Surrealism. This polygonal sculpture captures the iconic face of Salvador Dalí, with his famous intense gaze and upturned mustache, through clean, decisive Low-Poly geometry. The artist has painted the bust with a bold bi-facial contrast, dividing the work exactly in half between a vivid crimson red and a deep glossy petrol blue.
This chromatic “split” symbolizes the dual and complex nature of Dalí's mind: on one side energy, passion, and provocation (red), on the other depth, mystery, and intellectual reflection (petrol blue). The final touch of surreal genius rests on the chest, where a golden, metallized lobster (a nod to Dalí's famous "Lobster Telephone") rises as a regal badge, marrying the luxury of material with the classic iconography of the Spanish master. Resting on a coordinated pyramidal base, this bust transforms Dalí’s portrait into an imposing pop and conceptual design piece.
Hand-signed.

Biography of the artist
Pythia is the son of Etna and the sea. After traveling in Italy and breathing in the essence of Tuscan art, he returns to his homeland to give voice to his own vision.
His works are contemporary icons in which form — classical or polygonal — contrasts with painting gestures full of energy and meaning.
Each creation is a dialogue between matter and color, between stillness and movement.
His signature is a promise.
