Description from the seller

Magnificent WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) inkstand, emblematic of German Jugendstil, circa 1900–1910.

The piece captivates with its architectural lines and its decoration of stylized Celtic knots, typical of WMF productions from this period.

Made in metal with a silver patina (Britannia/alpacca-type alloy), stamped on the bottom with the WMF hallmark as well as quality marks (including “OX”), confirming production by the German manufacturer.

A sought-after desk decorative object, ideal for the Art Nouveau collector or an admirer of historical design.

Condition
Good overall condition with signs of use (scratches, surface wear).
Glass bottle missing.
