Vase - Porcelain - Perforated centerpiece

Lace-like pierced porcelain centerpiece from Paris, dating to the late 19th century, typically of the Empire or Restoration period.
It is French porcelain, often referred to as "Vieux Paris" or Paris porcelain. The design is typical of the neoclassical period, with forms inspired by antiquity.
It features a perforated or reticulated border in a shuttle or corbeille shape, resting on a flared pedestal and a square base. The porcelain is characterized by rich gold gilding that covers much of the pierced structure and the base.
These pieces were originally intended for displaying fruit or as purely decorative elements for dining tables, fireplaces, or commodes.
