The burgundy resin section remains in very good condition, with no cracks or damage, a correct and uniform shine. The transition between materials is clean and well aligned.

The gold nib is in very good condition, with a clean surface and no visible deformities. It has been inspected and tested, ensuring smooth and correct writing, in line with the brand’s standard.

Overall, it is a well-preserved piece, with moderate wear localized mainly on the cap crown, which does not affect its use and keeps its elegance and functionality intact.

Conservation recommendations

To preserve the piece in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks designed for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if it will not be used for a while, thoroughly dry before storing, and keep it in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. It is also advised to operate the writing mechanism gently to ensure its durability.
