D-Initial fountain pen in red resin/polyester with gold-plated trim, made in France and dating from 2000–2010, in good used condition and fully functional with a 14 cm length and 1.1 cm diameter.
Description from the seller
A0000004327
The pen presents a general very good condition, with careful aesthetics and a level of conservation appropriate to responsible use. The body in black lacquer maintains a deep and uniform shine, with very light micro signs of use visible only under close inspection, with no material loss or structural defects.
The gold elements (clip, central ring and caps) preserve an excellent appearance, with intense and homogeneous shine, showing only minimal superficial marks typical of use and the passage of time, with no significant wear of the plating.
The cap closes correctly by means of a pressure system, ensuring a firm and functional closure. The clip maintains its proper tension and alignment, with no play.
The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, with no deformations or visible damages. The feed has been checked, guaranteeing correct ink flow and a smooth and continuous writing.
The pen has been checked and serviced, being fully operational and ready for immediate use.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with warm water, dry completely before storing and keep in a dry place, away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve its proper function.
It will be shipped in a complimentary box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
