Orfèvrerie CHAMBLY S.F.AM, XXe siècle, Années 1970-1980 : Superb antique silver-plated Compote/ice bucket in metal, of fine quality, with an elegant and timeless design, resting on a circular foot and fitted with two decorative finely worked side handles.

CHAMBLY Silversmithing house resumed in 1973 the workshop of S.F.AM (Société Française des Alliages et Métaux) which closed in 2004.

The interior presents a patina of use consistent with the age.

Another partially legible hallmark (see photos), typical of European production of the late 19th / early 20th century "S.F.A.M"
