Very beautiful edition of this charming work by Dickens, magnificently illustrated by Gustave Doré.
Gilded half-leather binding in perfect condition – interior very fresh
35 wood engravings printed on a yellow background in the text – some show a shadow.
Preserved at the binding, green cover bearing on the front a broad paper-lace printed and illustrated in color.
Edition of 900 copies. This one is one of 850 on Lana (no. 402).
