Beautiful 4/4 violin by the Bohemian luthier J.B. Herclik (1903 - 1984)
The violin, a Guerneri model, is numbered opus 227. The violin is superbly built, down to the smallest details with a finely fluted top plate and beautifully flame-mirrored back. A gold-yellow varnish, which this luthier uses, is also characteristic. Furthermore, the violin has a warm, bright tone.
