Toilette case or perfume case (sometimes called a “perfume cave” or “scent case”), contained in a cranberry glass box (ruby-pink) mounted on a gilded bronze frame.

The frame features Rocaille motifs, a fleur-de-lis at the top and curved feet, with a hinge and clasp in worked gilded bronze.
Inside: two cobalt blue glass flasks with caps in chiselled gilded bronze, a gold metal thimble, and other miniature accessories.

Napoleon III style, circa 1860-1880.

Nécessaire de toilette ou étui à parfums (parfois appelé "cave à parfums" ou "nécessaire à senteurs"), contenu dans un coffret en verre cranberry (rose rubis) monté sur une armature en bronze doré.

L'armature possède des motifs rocaille, fleur de lys au sommet et pieds cambrés, avec charnière et fermoir en bronze doré travaillé.
À l'intérieur : deux flacons en verre bleu cobalt à bouchons en bronze doré ciselé, un dé à coudre en métal doré, et d'autres accessoires miniatures.
