Iconic Art Deco bowl by Luc Lanel (1893-1965) for the steamer "Normandie", commissioned in 1933 by the French shipping company Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (CGT).

The bowl, in hammered finish, consists of a base, a pedestal made of 4 spheres, and a dish, and can be taken apart into 3 parts for cleaning.

Punch marks: balance with O and C (Orfèverie Cristofle), CHRISTOFLE in a rectangle. Knight chess piece with O and C and 4 and 0 in a square.

Die Schale im Hammerschlagdekor besteht aus einem Sockel, einem Podest aus 4 Kugeln und einem Teller und kann in 3 Teile zur Reinigung zerlegt werden.
