They are 7 to 8 cm thick and weigh 40 to 50 kg each and hinge smoothly in their forged brass hinges.
Pivots are a kind of hinge that is not noticeable. They have been used since the 16th century.
The wood in the doors is processed in such a way that the direction of the grain creates a trompe-l'œil effect of deep cushions. Very nicely done.
The style is Baroque but Dutch Baroque, unlike in Germany, for example, not exuberant but rather modest.
