Description from the seller
A wonderful Art Nouveau three-piece silver-plated coffee and tea service by O.H. Lagerstedt AB that was active in Eskilstuna, Sweden, between 1888 and 1940.
The set was produced between 1907 and 1920 in a beautiful Scandinavian Jugendstil.
The set consists of a big pot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer.
All three pieces have the same design language: engraved tulip motifs on the body, horizontal ribbed bands around the neck and lower section, and pointed handles with a beaded design. Each piece stands on three paw-shaped legs topped with a scroll and leaf ornament.
Marked on the base: O.H. Lagerstedt A-B, Eskilstuna.
The set is in lovely condition with light surface wear. The lid of the pot does not close with a full seal, sitting a couple of millimeters off. A minor detail that does not affect functionality. Looks great overall.
Coffee pot: Height 26 cm, width 20 cm, depth 10.5 cm
Sugar bowl: Height 10.5 cm, width 14 cm, depth 9.5 cm
Creamer: Height 12.3 cm, width 10 cm, depth 6.5 cm
Total weight: 700 grams
