Lithography “Les Grimaces” by the French artist Louis-Leopold Boilly (1761-1845). From 1823 to 1828 Boilly worked on a series of ninety-five lithographs, in which all caricatures represent different human emotions, such as alarm, threat, pain, disgust, or annoyance.

The lithographs were printed by the Parisian printer Delpech between 1823 and 1828. Furthermore, the lithograph is signed with L. Boilly
