Magnificent chess set with 32 lead figures, handmade and hand-painted, faithfully reflecting the attire and uniforms of the early 19th century, as well as the most illustrious characters: Napoleon Bonaparte, Joseph Bonaparte, Joséphine, infantry, cavalry, Mamelukes, French soldiers, etcetera. Each figure is a small work of art.

The dimensions of the pieces range from 7.5 centimeters for the king, to 6.5 cm for the pawns. Weight of the 32 pieces: 2.4 kilograms, with 50 grams (pawns) and 110 grams (rooks).

The board, finely marquetry in a classic style, is large, measuring 54 cm x 54 cm.

Please note that this is a collector’s chess set that is very hard to obtain.
The chess set is in excellent condition. The pieces are perfect.
