Description from the seller
Vintage magazine rack – metal, chrome, wood & skai – mid-century modern – freestanding & hanging model – 60s/70s
An elegant and characterful vintage magazine rack with a clear mid-century modern look, made from a high-quality combination of metal, chrome, wood and skai (synthetic leather). This type of design is characteristic of European design from the 60s/70s, with influences from Italian and German modernism.
What makes this piece special is the multifunctional construction: the rack can be used as a freestanding piece or hung thanks to the tall metal bracket. This gives the object not only a playful and graphic silhouette, but also makes it very practical to use.
The two spacious compartments in black skai with visible stitching provide ample space for magazines, newspapers or documents. The contrast between the black material, the warm wood and the glossy chrome details creates a timeless and stylish look that fits effortlessly in both vintage and modern interiors.
