Commemorative Granada conquest chess set dating from an estimated 1990–2000, with bronze pieces on a wooden board and 24‑carat gold and silver pedestals, 32 pieces arranged on a 48 cm square board.

Exceptional Chess Game.
A commemorative jewel of the 5th centenary of the conquest of Granada, presented in a magnificent wooden chess set with an elegant classic design and Nazarí marquetry decoration. From the board open two drawers to store the pieces in a lovely felt that has an exclusive mold for each piece. Of important dimensions: 48 cm per side and 60 cm diagonal.
The refined polished pieces are handmade by the finest artisans in bronze and finished on pedestals gilded in 24-karat gold and silver. It consists of 32 pieces that represent the most important characters from the two sides of the 15th-century Granada conquest: the Catholic Monarchs, Boabdil, Aixa, great Christian knights and Arab warriors. In the photographs the porosity of their figures can be seen in great detail.
Special mention deserves the horses, each one different, with great detail and beauty. As with the bishops, also distinct from one another.
It is an exceptional and exclusive work of art, discontinued and difficult to obtain.
The set is in excellent condition. No damage of any kind.
