Ceramic wall relief by Ruscha from Germany, featuring a floral motif in red and blue, dating to the 1960–1970 period, measuring 33 × 15 × 1.5 cm and weighing about 1,650 g, in good used condition with minor signs of aging.
Description from the seller
Decorative ceramic wall panel from the renowned German manufacturer Ruscha Keramik (Rheinbach), one of the most important West German studio ceramics producers of the 1950s to 1970s. Ruscha is especially known for its expressive glazes, strong color impact and distinctive, graphic decor – features that this piece also carries.
The wall panel shows a floral motif in vividly bright, high-contrast red and blue blossoms, framed by dark outlines. The surface has the typical Ruscha character: textured, slightly relief-like and with an intense glaze that looks very lively in light. On the back there is a sturdy hanger, so the piece can be placed decoratively immediately.
The panel has no signature on the back, but is nevertheless attributed to Ruscha. In particular, older Ruscha panels from the 1950s were not always signed.
Dimensions: 33 x 15 x 1.5 cm
Weight: approx. 1,650 grams.
The panel comes from family ownership and is in excellent condition.
