Beautiful set of two chairs designed by Michael Thonet, in the Thonet style.

This set of chairs is in good, used condition. Beautiful due to the rounded forms of the bent wood. Both chairs have some old woodworm holes along the edge of the seat. The original caned seat is still comfortable to sit on but has a few broken reed pieces. The photos document the signs of aging. The photos are part of the description.

Prachtige set van twee stoelen naar ontwerp van Michael Thonet, in de stijl van Thonet.

Deze set stoelen is in een goede, gebruikte staat. Mooi door de ronde vormen van het gebogen hout. Beide stoelen hebben enkele oude houtwormgaatjes langs rand zitting. De originele webbing zitting is nog goed om op te zitten maar hebben enkele gebroken riet stukjes. Op de foto’s zijn de ouderdomssporen vastgelegd. De foto’s zijn onderdeel van de beschrijving.
