1930 Hohner Echo Elite tremolo harmonica with a red wooden comb and gold/red covers; in very good used condition and fully functional after testing, made in Germany, weighs 1 kg, with 40 double reeds (80 reeds total) and a C/G key layout.
Description from the seller
This is a highly collectible and very hard-to-find Hohner Echo Elite harmonica. Futuristically streamlined design. The Echo Elite harmonica was designed by American industrial designer and artist John Vassos. It is a tremolo harmonica, which means the reeds are slightly out of tune with each other, producing a sound that wobbles and oscillates in pitch. Double model, with 40 double holes and 80 reeds. In the keys of C on one side and G on the other.
This harmonica has a red-painted wooden comb, gold-colored and red covers with sound vents supported by red silk mesh. Comes in a cardboard box with lining. Made in Germany circa 1930. This harmonica plays and sounds great.
Approx.: 6.7 x 2.4 inches (17 cm) x (6 cm)
Condition: used, in very good condition for its age. A number of the reeds are slightly damaged (See photos)
But it still delivers the full fine sound!
Carefully packaged & shipped quickly.
