Beautiful multi-panel lithography featuring: traditional Dutch windmill landscape factory view “Cacaofabriek De Zaanstroom (1906)” iconic serving lady motif original lid with factory mark Inside the lid, the original French guarantee label is preserved, referencing Vienna (“Vienne”) and reflecting export to the imperial market of Central Europe within the Austro-Hungarian Empire: “Nous ne garantissons la qualité supérieure de notre cacao, tant que le plombage est intact.” (We guarantee the superior quality of our cocoa only as long as the seal remains intact.) Authentic untouched condition with strong patina, wear and corrosion consistent with age — highly decorative and collectible, with strong historical character.
