Once a year, Germany's leading daily newspaper DIE WELT is published as an exclusive artists' edition. Content designed by and with Gerhard Richter.
This rare collector's item was immediately out of stock at the date of publication. The publisher of "DIE WELT", the Axel Springer Verlag in Berlin, also published a limited 50-piece litho edition signed by Richter.
On the day of presentation, Gerhard Richter also signed some real newspaper copies for selected persons only. This artwork is one of them. It includes also his handwritten personal greetings as well as the date of signing.
It comes with full provenance (sales contract & photoproof) in very good condition.
