FANO (XX), hand-signed, presents Don Vito Dollar, a 2025 mixed-media Pop Art work in a 120 cm square format, edition 1/8, sold with frame by Galerie and depicting Culture Pop.
Description from the seller
In this dark and striking work, Fano pays homage to the iconic Don Vito Corleone, central figure of the film The Godfather. Put front and center, the character imposes his silent presence, a symbol of authority, power and control. In the background, a wall of dollar bills evokes the foundations of an empire built on influence, business, and well-placed silences.
The painting’s somber palette strengthens the mystery and intensity of the scene, while Fano’s pop art style modernizes this cinema icon, linking it to contemporary themes of power, money and image. A powerful work, at the crossroads of cinematic cult and social critique.
The XVI Art Gallery commits to packaging and shipping it directly to your home, in France and abroad. You can also pick it up immediately at our gallery located in Paris.
Artist Biography:
Stéphan Ouzilou, known as Fano, has always lived life on the fast track. His strength lies in thought: “Embrace life to the fullest”!
At 17, he meets the love of his life and they travel together to the Caribbean where they stay for three years.
Three years that will confirm his artistic fiber and undeniable talent.
Indeed, starting from nothing, he quickly rises to the head of a fashion empire in the textile industry, after creating the “trapeze dress” that adapts to all morphologies. Between Paris and the Caribbean, he chooses to remain at the forefront by designing all the shop windows of the boutiques he opens himself, showing his uncontrollable, endless passion for creation (he was the pioneer of the wooden articulated store mannequin in avant-garde fashion).
It is important to say that Fano grew up in the fashion industry, surrounded by great names like Gérard Darel
