LA CALMA is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This work unfolds from within; the gaze opens to a serene landscape where water and sky meet in a silent harmony. The window, with its intense green, acts as a living frame for the exterior scene, inviting us to pause and contemplate. Through its panes, a sailboat glides gently across the water, hardly disturbing it, while in the distance the light façades of the city reflect in soft, diffused tones.

The interior breathes intimacy. A red, warm, and welcoming armchair occupies the foreground as a refuge from which to observe the world.
