The elegant handcrafted ring is made of 925 sterling silver; since it is not hallmarked, it was professionally inspected by a master goldsmith, who confirms the details I stated above.
The ring features an oval, intensely dark red Italian Mediterranean coral cabochon, held securely by a smooth bezel.
It is surrounded by a broad decorative mount with polished inlays and pearl-bead motifs.
The coral cabochon has a wonderfully glossy surface with two small, barely visible natural inclusions.
The silverwork has been kept in its slightly darker patina to enhance the contrast with the brilliantly shiny coral cabochon.
