The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before individually returning them to our collectors without any constraints. The transportation cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and note the reason for the refusal on the delivery manifest, specifying issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “bent.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. Conversely, if both the packaging and contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Please note that if you accept the package without verifying your purchase at delivery, we cannot claim compensation or a replacement.

If you make a withdrawal request, DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained notoriety in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, ranking that same year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters 7 tons. The world’s largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the brand-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square, NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”
- American Film Festival trophies awarded to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.
- Completion of the sculpture “Ascension of Christ” after several years of work.
- Casting at Fonderia Del Chiaro (Italy) Pietrasanta.

2020: - Beginning of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.
- Deauville American Film Festival: he creates a new sculpture in collaboration with the city of Deauville, inspired by the barriers of Deauville’s promenade (the planks).

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: - Creation of a new sculpture for the Deauville American Film Festival trophy; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many more...

- Several One Dollar sculptures by the artist exhibited inside the Royal Monceau Hotel.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall “One Dollar,” fully bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First exhibition in Spain at Marbella’s Atrium gallery, solo show with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati wrapped in white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: - Maserati presents in world première the Maserati Ghibli reinterpreted by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador to France hosted a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, permanently at the town’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos retracing the festival’s key moments.
