Table lighter in a silver holder – the Netherlands, mid-20th century – approx. 65.4 grams
Rectangular silver sleeve, on both sides richly decorated in deep relief with a classical Old Dutch inn scene, framed by floral motifs and rocailles.
The silver casing is hallmarked for Dutch second-grade silver (835). Weight of the silver sleeve: approx. 65.4 grams. Length: approx. 9.5 cm.
Inside the silver sleeve is a removable metal table lighter from the German brand Mylflam, type ET 65, produced in the mid-20th century (circa 1950–1960). Mylflam was a German manufacturer of metal lighters and table models, active until about 1976.
