Jules Claverie - Single-flower vase - Glass

Magnificent artistic work signed Jules Claverie, a landscape painter recognized by his peers dating from the late 19th century. Large antique wine bottle, cut and finely hand-painted. The originality of this unique vase lies both in the diversity of representations painted around the circumference of the piece and in the texture brought by the painter. One also notices the glassmaker’s work who hollowed the facets to create an original wave-like form.
