Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
StarWalker fountain pen with black resin body and a 14K gold (Au585) nib, made in Germany, 14 cm long and 1.1 cm in diameter, dating from 2000–2010 and in good used condition with working order.
Description from the seller
A0000004682
The fountain pen is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for excellent maintenance both aesthetically and functionally. The body in black precious resin retains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks or structural damage, showing only light micro-scratches from use consistent with careful and infrequent use.
The cap maintains a firm and precise fit, with the platinum-plated clip in good condition, without deformations and with the correct level of tension. The metallic details preserve their original finish, showing only minimal signs of handling practically imperceptible to the naked eye.
The textured section shows very light wear, preserving its non-slip character and providing excellent ergonomics in use. This type of finish often reveals use more than other surfaces, but in this case it is in very satisfactory condition.
The 14K gold nib (Au585) is in good structural condition, with no visible deformations, proper alignment, and preserving its smooth and fluid writing ability. The feeding system functions properly, ensuring a steady ink flow.
The piece has been checked and serviced, ensuring proper operation for immediate use.
Overall, it is a well-preserved fountain pen, with normal signs of use but fully maintaining its aesthetic and functional qualities, ideal for both daily use and as a collection within the contemporary StarWalker line.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. If not in use for an extended period, rinse with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve proper functioning.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
