Beautiful oil on linen painting by Wilhelmus Enneking (1933) signed with the pseudonym W.L. Range.

Signed by Range and attributed to the Arnhem artist Enneking (1933), who had this style of painting and in the 60s and 70s carried out commissions for the art dealer Range in Arnhem. The Range artist family simply signed paintings for trade with their name Range (bottom right).

The painter Enneking is regarded as belonging to the Romantic School and is listed in the Lexicon Nederlandse Beeldende Kunstenaars 1750-1950.

Gesigneerd door Range en toegeschreven aan de Arnhemse kunstenaar Enneking (1933), welke deze stijl van schilderen had en in de 60- en 70-er jaren in opdracht heeft gewerkt van de kunsthandel Range te Arnhem. De kunstenaarsfamilie Range was gewoon de schilderijen voor de verhandeling te signeren met haar naam Range (rechtssonder).
De schilder Enneking wordt gerekend tot de Romantische school en staat vermeld in de Lexicon Nederlandse Beeldende Kunstenaars 1750-1950.
