Description from the seller
Characteristics of this object:
Wild boar tusks: The large curved tusks are highly valuable. In some regions a completely round tooth indicates a process that can take years, which greatly increases the value.
Kauri shells: These shells were historically often used as a medium of exchange (currency) in the Pacific region and Africa. They symbolize fertility, prosperity, and spiritual protection.
Crown bird or cassowary feathers: The black feathers that protrude at the sides are characteristic of the rich ceremonial dress of highland tribes.
Braided fibers: The teeth and shells are hand-attached to a frame of natural plant fibers.
