Ceramic tray by Zaccagnini, 21 × 21 cm, with gold crackle glaze on a dark red ground, signed on the underside with UZ Italy and factory mark C.407, dating from the 1950s, in poor condition with extensive cracks and losses.

Ugo Zaccagnini (1868-1937), former plaster formator at Ginori di Doccia, founded in 1905 the ceramic factory Ugo Zaccagnini & Figli. In 1936 the factory became Società Anonima Ceramiche Zaccagnini, then Zaccagnini SpA. Lamps, vases and sculptures by Ugo Zaccagnini.
