Elegant magazine rack crafted from solid wood with a warm dark walnut finish. The structure features turned vertical posts (spindle-turned) that give a classic, light appearance.
The piece also serves as a top-side table. It includes a rare chrome-plated mechanical push-down ashtray (on the right) and a small coordinated circular insert/storage compartment (on the left), typical of lounge accessories of the era.

Also known as Smoking Stand / Smoker’s Companion because this particular type of table had an integrated ashtray. They were indispensable accessories in mid-century gentlemen’s lounges.
