Pair of two truly beautiful French Art Deco bookends. Ceramic in azure-green color, hand-decorated with gold paint.

The figurines are finely detailed, and still bear the original sticker reading 'CAB - decore a la main' (hand-decorated).

Typical Art Deco depiction of two fawns beside a small shrub. Dated to around the 1930s. The gold paint is still nicely intact. No chips.

Set van twee werkelijk prachtige Franse Art Deco boekensteunen. Keramiek van azuur groene kleur, met de hand gedecoreerd met gouden verd. 

De beeldjes zijn puntvaaf, en nog voorzien van de originele sticker waarop staat ‘CAB - decore a la main’  (handgedecoreerd).

Typische Art Deco voorstelling van twee hertjes bii een kleine struik. Datering rond 1930z De goudverf is ook nog mooi intact. Geen chips.
