Hermann Bauer - Bonbon basket - .925 silver

A luxurious German Sterling Silver and etched glass bride's basket (or bonbonniere) that was produced between 1925 and 1950.
Made by Hermann Bauer of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Founded in 1863, the firm is known for its high-quality silverwork and sophisticated designs.

​The piece features a hand-etched glass body with a flared rim and three scroll feet.
The glass is decorated with floral and foliate motifs.
It is fitted with a Sterling Silver rim and a swing handle.

​Stamped with the "925", "STERLING", and the HB maker's mark within a crowned shield.

​Condition:
​The basket is in excellent vintage condition. The silver has a beautiful shine with a nice patina.
