A luxurious German Sterling Silver and etched glass bride's basket (or bonbonniere) that was produced between 1925 and 1950. Made by Hermann Bauer of Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Founded in 1863, the firm is known for its high-quality silverwork and sophisticated designs. ​The piece features a hand-etched glass body with a flared rim and three scroll feet. The glass is decorated with floral and foliate motifs. It is fitted with a Sterling Silver rim and a swing handle. ​Stamped with the "925", "STERLING", and the HB maker's mark within a crowned shield. ​Dimensions: ​Height (with handle): 15 cm. ​Height (without handle): 7.5 cm. ​Diameter: 13 cm. ​Total Weight: 194 g. ​Condition: ​The basket is in excellent vintage condition. The silver has a beautiful shine with a nice patina. The etched glass is clear with no chips or cracks. Please take a good look at the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
