Description from the seller
Extraordinary bronze wall cross – symbolic religious art – modernist design
Beautifully and expressively crafted bronze wall cross with a strong symbolic depiction of hands around bread and chalice – a reference to the Eucharist and communion. This special religious art object combines spirituality with a powerful modernist design and exudes simplicity, calm, and devotion.
The cross is made of solid bronze and has a warm, brown-gold patina that adds depth to the relief. The stylized hands on all sides create an impressive rhythmic whole, while the chalice and bread are central as subtle liturgical symbols.
Thanks to its sober yet artistic form, this cross fits both a classical and contemporary interior. Very suitable as wall decoration, devotional object, or collectible for lovers of religious art from the 20th century.
