Quality by eye (for the clasp, unfortunately difficult to decipher!)

Weight: 10.29 grams.

The names Doublé, in English "rolled gold" in Dutch "gewalst goud" and in French "laminé", were legally protected by the Reichsgericht ruling of 21.12.1923; they may not be used for goods whose gold plating was produced by a different process, for example galvanic gold plating.
In 1900 rolled gold "Doublé" was reintroduced using a new process: first two metal tombak plates were pressed together, followed by a silver layer, after which two more thin layers of gold were pressed on.
The pressed plates were then sent to the ateliers to be used in jewelry manufacture.
The jewelry was then beautifully polished, with the guarantee that they would retain their golden shine for life, as evidenced by this necklace!
Jewelry of this quality is still rarely found nowadays!

Photos are enlarged; check the specifications for dimensions!
The necklace will be lightly cleaned before shipping and sent registered and insured in a gift box with Track and Trace.
Customs duties are at buyer's expense.
