Silver-plated tea canister from Schoonhoven, Netherlands, dating to ca. 1930–1950, made for Douwe Egberts, with relief depictions of rural Dutch life, dimensions 10 cm high by 8 cm wide and 8 cm deep, in good used condition with minor signs of age.

This special piece was made on commission for Douwe Egberts and is richly executed in relief with vivid scenes from Dutch rural life: drinking farmers, working women, horses with carts, and playing children.
The richly adorned lid, also in relief, is crowned with an elegant knob.
