Description from the seller

Boch Frères – Large porcelain jug / pitcher with hand-painted floral decor and gold accents – Belgium.
Sales text:
Beautiful large porcelain jug (ewer/pitcher) from Boch Frères (Villeroy Boch Frères), La Louvière, Belgium.
This elegant decorative jug is richly adorned with a hand-painted, colorful floral motif. On the cream-colored porcelain, numerous flowers are scattered: roses, tulips, cornflowers, daisies, sunflowers, and other blossoms in bright shades of pink, purple, orange, yellow, and blue, with green leaves. The whole is beautifully accented with gold edges, a gilded handle, and a gilded base.
At the bottom is clearly marked the factory mark Boch Frères Keralux (sometimes indicated as Boch Frères La Louvière). Boch Frères produced high-quality porcelain and earthenware in the late 19th and early 20th centuries with these romantic, traditional floral decorations – a classic Belgian quality that aligns well with European flatware and interior pieces from that period.
Dimensions:
Height: 27 cm
Diameter: approx. 14 cm
Weight: 1131 grams
Condition:
In good antique condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations visible on the body. The gold shows, as is typical with old porcelain, light signs of wear and patina (especially on the handle and rims), which contributes to the authentic charm. See the detailed photos for an accurate view.
This is a decorative showpiece that fits excellently in a classic, country, or vintage interior. Ideal as a focal point on a cabinet, mantelpiece, or as part of a larger Boch Frères service. Boch Frères pieces with this type of decoration and gold are sought-after by collectors of Belgian porcelain and European antique ceramics.
