RAAK Amsterdam Wall Sconce with Coloured Glass, Netherlands, 1960s
A striking wall sconce by RAAK Amsterdam, produced in the Netherlands. This little lamp is made from black lacquered metal and fitted with five coloured glass elements in red, green, blue and warm amber tones.
The design plays beautifully with contrast: the black metal housing forms a sober architectural frame, while the coloured glass pieces bring a vivid, gemstone like quality .
