Impressive crucifix with living Christ in elephant ivory from the 17th century, the head turned toward the left shoulder, his wavy hair topped by a crown of thorns, legs parallel, loincloth tied on the right leg.

Good condition, minor losses to a few fingertips and small cracks.

Beautiful frame with keys in wood and gilded stucco.

Imposant crucifix avec Christ vivant en ivoire d'éléphant du 17ème siècle, la tête tournée vers l'épaule gauche, sa chevelure ondulée surmontée d'une couronne d'épines, jambes parallèles, périzonium noué sur la jambe droite.

Bel état, légers manques à quelques bouts de doigts et petites fentes.

Beau cadre à clefs en bois et stuc doré.
