Pair of French Sèvres-style porcelain - Ornamental Vase and Bonbonnière - Limoges porcelain, hand-painted - France, late 19th century
from two refined decorative objects in high-quality French porcelain (Limoges), made in the iconic style of the Sèvres manufactory between the late 19th and early 20th century.
Large Ornamental Vase:
Features a hand-painted central cartouche with a gallant pastoral scene, surrounded by garlands of multicolored flowers and rich 24-karat gold finishes.
• Mounting: Elegant scroll handles and a circular base in gilded bronze/brass that confer a majestic look to the piece.
• Marks: Under the base is the handwritten indication "décor main" (hand-decorated) accompanied by the artist's monogram
Container / Bonbonnière on a base:
• Decoration: Characterized by a vibrant cobalt blue band, decorated with hand-painted floral details. The lid is equipped with a porcelain ring-handled knob.
• Mounting: The body sits on a perforated/gilded metal base with worked feet. The bottom bears the label "A la main - Limoges".
