A finely detailed antique relief plaque signed C.J. Becker, depicting a charming rural genre scene in high relief. Beautifully presented in its original wooden frame with a rich red textile surround, this piece embodies the warmth and craftsmanship of turn-of-the-century French decorative art.
The sculpted panel portrays villagers in traditional attire gathered in a pastoral landscape, complete with trees, cottages, and a lively dog in the foreground.
