Silver - Anklet - Sterling Payal

A vintage sterling silver (.925) anklet, also known as a payal.
India - Second half 20th century

Handmade piece in the tribal style from Rajasthan, often worn by belly dancers or as ethnic jewelry.
It features a flexible chain with intricate patterns and dangling round charms or bells that make a jingling sound when walking.

Marked 925 on the clasp (see photo 6).

Weight = 14.84 g
