Richard Ginori - Antonia Campi - Table service - Ceramic

Tableware set for 8 people produced in the 1960s/70s roughly by Richard Ginori at the Laveno plants on Lake Maggiore near Milan in Lombardy.
The set was designed by Italian designer Antonia Campi (1921 - 2019), one of the best-known figures in Italian design. An artist and sculptor by training, Antonia Campi came to design through the Società Ceramica Italiana di Laveno, where she had joined as a worker in 1947 and became artistic director in the sixties.
The set, very rare in its brown coloration with mustard-colored rims and with faux aging marks, consists of:
1 large deep serving plate, diameter 30 cm, height 4.5 cm
1 large flat serving plate, diameter 30 cm
1 sauce bowl, diameter 17 cm
8 flat plates, diameter 25.5 cm
1 jug for wine or water, height 15 cm, width 17.5 cm
